Inductive Automation Introduces OPC Client for Seamless Interaction with SQL Databases

Released on = March 7, 2006, 3:58 pm

Press Release Author = Inductive Automation

Industry = Industrial

Press Release Summary = Inductive Automation Introduces OPC Client for Seamless
Interaction with SQL Databases

Press Release Body = SACRAMENTO, March 2006 – The FactorySQL OPC to SQL data-bridge
features point and click configurability to achieve bi-directional data flow with
virtually any SQL database.

Once considered a daunting task, SQL database logging can now be accomplished in
minutes. FactorySQL supports triggers, batch transfers, alarming, alerting,
auditing, and a host of other features.

A unique feature of FactorySQL is bi-directional mirroring of PLC address values and
database field values. When data values change in either location they are
immediately reflected on the other end. As a result, any SQL database can act as a
tag database which in turn can be accessed by web-applications. This revolutionary
feature makes web-HMIs a reality.

Inductive Automation is the innovative leader in web-deployed industrial control
applications.
