2006 Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival Line-Up includes Three 6 Mafia and more

away and everyone is ready for this year\'s Memphis in May Beale Street Music
Festival going down May 5-7 once again at Tom Lee Park in Downtown Memphis. The
weekend\'s rap/hip-hop line-up include a Friday performance by 2006 Oscar winners
Three 6 Mafia on the Memphis in May AutoZone Stage; and a Saturday performance by
Memphis rap veteran Al Kapone featuring the Bo-Keys on the Memphis in May Budweiser
Stage. Three Six Mafia is currently on the road appearing on show after show with
their latest being a suprise appearance on MTV\'s Punk\'d hosted by Ashton Kutcher. Al
Kapone, songwriter and producer of \"Whoop That Trick\" (Hustle and Flow), is
currently in Virginia on business according to a MemphisRap.com source, but will
definitely be back in the \"M-Town\" for his performance. Also, as always, tons of
other special guests totaling over 60 acts are also set to perform at the Beale
Street Music Festival on both AutoZone and Budweiser stages plus the Cellular South
Stage.

Gospel, Alternative to Country, Rap to Rock, and Jazz to Pop and Soul) include
non-other than Little Richard, George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, Jerry Lee
Lewis, Memphis\' own Bar-Kays, Huey Lewis & The News, Booker T. & The MG’s, the
\"Godfather of Soul\" James Brown, of course Memphis\' \"King of Blues\" B.B. King, Bo
Diddley, The Romantics, Memphis-born rock-favorite Egypt Central and many more.
