This new paradigm employs a guide for creative problem-solving to support the client’s thought process. The guide is able to lead the client through the Imaginal landscape to new insight that creates better ideas and solutions. The Imaginal is the genesis of thought and ideas. It appears as active symbolic imagery that provides profound insight and solutions. If the Imaginal were a multi-faceted diamond, then creativity, intuition, and insight would each be a single facet of the whole diamond.
This new paradigm in thinking is made possible through recent advances in Imaginal Psychology and the use of a guide for creative problem-solving. This process allows clients to explore their own wisdom and volume of knowledge while the guide manages many thinking processes for the client. The guide is able to maintain the client’s concentration, introduce new skills, and lead the client into the Imaginal. This process is a second generation of creative problem-solving. It is distinctly different from popular techniques of creativity and problem-solving commonly in use today.
Sessions with a guide are one hour in length by phone. Through this process some problems can be resolved quickly within one session. Other problems may involve complex relationships between business, life, and other inner dynamics. These more complex issues may take multiple sessions to resolve over a few months.
