Press Release Body = April 23, 2006 , Coral Gables, FL – Sifu Sandor Urban, owner of
“Sandor Urban’s US Kenpo Kai,” in Coral Gables, and Associate Professor Zach
Whitson recently promoted a student to the advanced rank of Second Degree Black Belt
at the school’s recent “April Belt Test.”

After more than 12 years of American Kenpo Training, Michael Molina has achieved the
rank of Second Degree Black Belt and earned the title Instructor of the Arts in
American Kenpo Karate. He is the first student under Sifu Urban to have achieved
this rank and one of only a handful to have done so under Professor Whitson. He is
now well on his way to earning the coveted rank and title of Head Instructor of the
Arts in American Kenpo. At Second Degree Black Belt he has now qualified for Expert
Level Kenpo Karate training.

Molina will now embark on a many year long journey of advanced martial arts studies
that are designed to instill the great responsibilities that come not only with his
current rank, but also prepare him to be a certified Head Instructor in the martial
art of Ed Parker’s American Kenpo Karate. “For me it has been a tremendous pleasure
seeing Michael mature into the fine adult he has become. I still see him as a kid in
my minds eye but he has grown well beyond that in the last twelve years. I can’t
wait to see where coming years lead him” explained Sifu Urban.

Additionally promoted this month at Sandor Urban’s US Kenpo Kai in Coral Gables was
Anna Uribe. Anna tested by herself in front of the board and performed spectacularly
all of the required materials to attain the rank of Junior Blue Belt. “I’m very
proud of her” said Sifu Urban, “most kids would have panicked being up there by
themselves but Anna really took the opportunity to shine.”
