Hit novel available from `all good food shops`

Released on = December 1, 2006, 7:09 am

Press Release Author = Legend Press

Industry = Management

Press Release Summary = Salt & Honey, the powerful debut novel from Candi Miller, is
now being snapped up not just by nationwide booksellers but also by South African
gift and food shops.

Press Release Body = The book’s publisher, Legend Press, has timed this broadening
of scope to less-traditional sales outlets to coincide with the onset of Christmas
shoppers, particularly those interested in southern African culture. The outlets
stocking Salt & Honey from next week will include speciality African shops in
England and Scotland, ranging from restaurants and delis to gift shops.

Salt & Honey is set in a southern Africa violently split during Apartheid and offers
the reader a rare glimpse into an endangered culture. Miller wrote the epic and
moving story following ten-years of research including an expedition to the Kalahari
Desert in southern Africa where she temporarily lived with one of the San tribes.

The novel has proved its’ wide appeal and has been promoted nationwide as well as
receiving interest from over 20 countries around the world – tipping it to be a
major international literary hit.

Tom Chalmers, Managing Director of Legend Press, commented: “Legend Press is always
geared up for original ideas and setting new trends and we feel sure that this
unique novel will sell extremely well through southern African speciality shops.
Slowly publishers are catching on to the potential of selling through a diverse
range of outlets in an increasingly competitive retail environment.”
