Magazine\'s “Best Lawyers in Dallas” 2007 list, which is featured in the magazine’s
May 2007 issue.

D Magazine’s “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list is the culmination of an extensive
process of peer selection. The editors of D Magazine posted a secured online
ballot allowing registered Dallas attorneys to vote. Attorneys were asked to
designate their primary area of practice and then nominate two lawyers outside
their firm and one within their firm in their own practice area. This was the first
year the publication asked voting lawyers to nominate only those people who
practice in the voter’s specialty. Self-nominations were excluded. A panel of
local attorneys reviewed the final list, which included 237 Dallas lawyers.
