Press Release Author = Bharat Book Bureau

Industry = Energy

Press Release Summary = Published for the first time, a fully detailed oil and gas
activity and concession map covering the sub-continental regions of India,
Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Press Release Body = Published for the first time, a fully detailed oil and gas
activity and concession map covering the sub-continental regions of India,
Bangladesh and Pakistan. Due to the high amount of exploration and drilling activity
in this vast region, plus the continuing release of new blocks under the NELP V and
VI rounds, it have published the first commercially available map of the region to
market directly to the oil and gas industry. India remains one of the least explored
regions in the world. Only six of the country\'s 26 basins have been explored so far.
The general early consensus that India had little hydro-carbon potential has changed
dramatically since the recent finding of some major fields. Many deepwater
discoveries are still to be investigated and further drilling schedules to be
expected. Basins such as Krishna-Godavari and Gujarat Kutch have been in the
spotlight for many months. All these areas and discoveries are included in-depth
within this map.
