Contactology Hires Former Client to Lead Sales and Marketing Initiatives

the team to lead their sales and marketing initiatives.

Press Release Body: DURHAM, NC - Contactology, a permission-based e-mail marketing
company, announced today that Winston Bowden has joined the team to lead their sales
and marketing initiatives.

Bowden comes to Contactology from Cassell Design where he served as director of
business development. Before Cassell, he spent five years as marketing and program
manager at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the nation’s largest
membership-based entrepreneurial support organization.

“I’m excited to be surrounded by brilliant people,” said Bowden. “The e-mail
marketing industry is bursting with activity and we have a gifted staff here working
hard to keep our product on the cutting edge.”

As a former client of Contactology, Bowden understands the ins and outs of the
Contactology product line. “We used Contactology at CED and I continue to use it as
a board member at the Visual Art Exchange,” said Bowden.

Drew Adams, co-founder and CEO at Contactology, is excited to expand his team with
the sales and marketing role. “We’ve been ready to make this hire for some time,”
said Adams. “We were just waiting for the right candidate.”

Bowden’s first order of business will be to talk with existing customers. “Our
customers are priority one,” said Bowden. “I’m looking forward to helping them get
the most out of Contactology.”

Bowden will also be responsible for building strategic partnerships on a local and
national scale, defining marketing strategies and communicating new product
features.

One of those new features is EasyCast, a tool that allows users to send e-mail
campaigns from any e-mail reader application without logging into Contactology.
“Our customers can use Contactology from within Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express,
Entourage - or any email reader they are using,” said Bowden. “EasyCast is a
proprietary feature to Contactology, one that saves our customers time.” EasyCast
was launched earlier this year.
