than two decades, formerly as a traditional employee, and currently as a business
owner. Dost owns and operates a virtual assistance company based in Lafayette,
Indiana called Time Is Of The Es-Cents. The virtual assistance industry is gaining
popularity throughout North America and across the globe as more and more business
owners recognize the many benefits associated with outsourcing their administrative

services from creating labels and spreadsheets to maintaining blogs, sending

Ms Dost has been involved with VANetworking.com (VANA to its members) for # years,
as a member, volunteer and VA (virtual assistant) to its founder, Tawnya Sutherland.
VANA is the world’s largest virtual assistant organization, and on December 13th at
its ‘virtual’ Christmas party, Dost was awarded the association’s first annual
‘VAccolade Business Entrepreneur of the Year’ award. Each week, a virtual assistant
from VANA’s international membership is honored as VAccolade Business Entrepreneur,
and Dost was chosen from among VANA’s weekly recipients of 2007 as the yearly
winner.

Virtual Assistance, happening in Toronto, Canada in May of 2008.

Patty Dost, owner of Time Is Of The Es-Cents, has over 20 years experience in the
corporate world. She has an extensive background as an Administrative Assistant,
Human Resources Assistant, and Payroll Administrator. She also has experience in
travel planning and meeting coordination.

Since officially opening her Virtual Assistant business, Patty has used her
background and also furthered her skills so that she can assist her clients and
establish long-term business relationships. She enjoys working with small businesses
