The Sentinel News is announcing today that it has launched it’s website, and will
publish the first printed issue of The Sentinel for Free Public distribution in
early February 2008. This announcement comes after a year of planning and organizing
a free public news forum for the Monroe County and surrounding tri-county area
located in South Central Indiana.


Press Release Body: The Sentinel’s editorial statement is to deliver the news in an
unadulterated and unbiased manner. The news content will consist of both local and
national content, it will be centered around the tri-county cultural and
environmental issues. The newspaper will be ad ran, and will be distributed by
several retailers for no charge to the general public (FREE)

Local artisans, photographers, writers and poets should feel free to send
unsolicited submissions to The Sentinel News ; Submissions Department, at the
address listed below. Some selected submissions may receive compensation if chosen
as content of a commercial value. Not including Advertorials, or Editorial content.


The Sentinels mission is to supply an alternative source to the news, as well as a
medium for local artisans to feature their various crafts according to the
guidelines set forth by the editorial staff.
