Annual Forensic Training Seminar

Released on: April 3, 2008, 7:44 am

Press Release Author: Ricardo Tomboc

Industry: International Trade

Press Release Summary: California State Division International Association for
Identification will be having it\'s annual Forensic Training Seminar in Ontario
California.

Press Release Body: PRESS RELEASE

WHO: California State Division International Association for Identification
(CSDIAI) A Forensic association established in 1918 for the advancement of the
science. Check out our web page at csdiai.net

WHAT: Will be holding its 92nd. annual training seminar.

WHEN: May 4 – 8, 2008

WHERE: Ontario Double Tree Hotel (222 North Vineyard Ave, Ontario, California)

WHY: Training and keeping up with current trends, affairs, and state of the art
advances dealing in the area of Forensics is vital for the professionals involved in
the field, and as well for the community as well who is untimely the beneficiary.

Training will consist of several facets of the Forensic disciplines (i.e. digital
imaging, fingerprinting of deceased in an advanced state of decomposition, UV/IR
Photo Techniques, Blood Pattern analysis, Forensic Anthropology & Cold Cases, Latent
Prints, Courtroom Testimony, Polygraph, Basics of Ballistics & Firearms, etc.).

In years past, the media has taken advantage of the public’s interest in Forensic
Science via the various CSI & crime shows, by covering the seminar events, vendors,
and workshops.

We welcome the public’s interest in Forensics and we want to educate them (via the
media) in what really happens in real life. Can you really get a DNA matched in
less than two minutes? Can you really get a latent print from a rock?

Our President Marilyn Dunne and her staff will be hosting the event. President
Dunne and other assigned staff members will be available to the media for interviews
and to escort media through the seminar. Spanish speakers are available.
