New service helps employers communicate with their staff

Released on: May 31, 2008, 6:32 am

Press Release Author: Harris Johns

Industry: Human Resources

Press Release Summary: A new website launched today (31 May) will help employers to
communicate with their staff more effectively and professionally.

Press Release Body: The site - www.internal-communications.info - offers free advice
and tips on how to plan, write and edit first class internal communications and
staff newsletters.

Harris Johns, CEO of the Internal Communications Corporation, says: \"Internal
communication has a vital role to play in organisational management and development
and should be an integral part of business planning.

\"Effective communication between managers and staff improves staff satisfaction and
the performance of an organisation, reducing the opportunity for confusion and
misinterpretation of key policies and decisions.

\"In organisations with excellent colleague communications, all staff know the
objectives, vision and values of the company and what they need to do to deliver
these.\"

Topics covered include monthly newsletters, team brief meetings, e-mail, the
intranet, one-to-one meetings between staff and management, and using RSS technology
to get the corporate message across to staff.

Mr Johns adds: \"The sort of information we\'re providing for free would usually cost
employers hundreds of pounds in consultancy fees, so this is a great opportunity for
small and larger employers.\"
