DSO Gaming Clan Attends its First Pro Circuit Event MLG Orlando 2008

Press Release Body: 7-29-08 ORLANDO, FL: DSO Clan made its inaugural appearance at Major League Gaming\'s Pro Circuit event in Orlando, Florida. DSO Delta, the all-girl Halo 3 division, had two full female teams competing in the Halo 3 tournament on MLG\'s Pro Circuit. The two teams were supported by fellow clan members and other spectators.
DSO Delta, consisting of team captain Maverick DSO and members DSO SniperWolf, LadyLuck34, and hot chief DSO, played a tough match on Friday evening in the first heat of Winners Bracket Round 1. Although DSO Delta held the lead during the beginning of the first game, the opposing team was able to pull ahead and win the round by a slim margin. The following day, they were knocked out in Losers Bracket Round 2 after receiving a bye for Losers Bracket Round 1.
DSO Delta Nu, consisting of team captain Jaded DSO and members Wicked Fate DSO, Mpiece DSO and Venom DSO, also began with a loss in the second heat of Winners Bracket Round 1 on Friday evening. DSO Delta Nu was pushed down to the Loser\'s Bracket Round 1 on Saturday morning where the presiding MLG official mistakenly instructed them to use the incorrect game types, throwing off the team\'s previously formulated strategies. Despite the error, DSO Delta Nu fought on and proved themselves to be excellent sportswomen. Although they put up a valiant fight, they were unable to bring the match back around into their favor and were knocked out of the tournament.
Both teams played well and represented DSO proudly at their first large-scale, professional event. DSO members, attending as both competitors and spectators, enjoyed a successful weekend filled with gaming and fun. DSO members wore soon-to-be vintage DSO Clan Gear designed by Maverick DSO and Wicked Fate DSO.
The Orlando event, the third in a series of five open contests, took place at the Marriott World Center Resort and Convention Center from July 11-13 in Orlando, Florida.

About MLG Orlando: Orlando was the third stop on MLG\'s 2008 Pro Circuit tour, which featured Halo 3, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and World of Warcraft.
