In the Buckhead area of Atlanta, the traffic jam almost never ends. Even after most
of the once-popular bars and restaurants have moved further intown commercial
businesses and massive 20 story plus office buildings now pepper the skyline of this
posh community.

With the traffic problem getting worse by the day and the ever increasing price of
fuel, the Buckead Area Transportation Management Association needed a face lift and
a better web presence to provide information about better commute options,
alternative work options and tools, like a commute calculator, free gas cards and
even preferred parking status to atlanta residents wanting a vacation from the often
hour long commutes that mostly involve sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. With
this need, they turned to local company Smart Marketer, an interactive website
development agency and search engine optimization firm.

Over a year in the planning a massive, user friendly web presence was developed with
senior developer, Geoey Cook and BATMAs Assistant Executive Director, Amy Sturgill.

The result has been a fantastic overhaul of the public web site (www.batma.org) and
hopes are high that with the streamlined navigation, useful tools and many
incentives available to commuters that BATMA can help Atlanta commuters save time,
money, fuel and perhaps even their sanity.
