Press Release Body: Lexington, KY: Matrix Design Group, LLC and Kutta Technologies, Inc. today announced that they have completed an agreement for distribution of Kutta’s medium frequency DRUM (Digital Radio for Underground Mines) radios to mining companies in the United States.

In addition Kutta and Matrix announced today that they will be working together on an interface to allow data transfer for Matrix’s Miner and Equipment Tracking System (METS) across Kutta’s digital radio network. Kutta and Matrix, in cooperation with Alliance Coal, have successfully tested the DRUM voice communications system on four separate occasions at Alliance mines in Western Kentucky.
