Palm Springs, California – DiMora Custom Bikes will have three
distinctive motorcycles on display at the Seventh Annual Culver City
Car Show on Saturday, May 8, with "Criminal Minds" star Joe Mantegna
as the Grand Marshal. Over 400 classic cars and hot rods will compete
for prizes in many categories.
The theme of the show is "Cruisin' Back to the 50's". Having built cars for
movies and TV since that decade—such as the Batmobile and the Munsters'
Koach—George Barris, the King of Kustomizers, will be on hand with some of his
famous creations. In addition to his motorcycles, Alfred DiMora will also be showing
a custom car produced for Hollywood by DiMora Motorcar, the JX Coupe.
Barris was pleased to learn that DiMora would be participating in the show. "I've
known Alfred DiMora since he was building those classic Clenet and Sceptre cars in
the 1970s. His new motorcycles prove he has a great sense of style and design. That
ZTango is a beautiful bike."
Legendary actor Bo Hopkins, star of "American Graffiti", "The Wild Bunch",
"Dynasty", and countless other movies and TV shows, will be on hand at the DiMora
exhibit to sign autographs, have pictures taken with fans, and enjoy the day's
activities. The fun begins at 9:00 AM Saturday, May 8, on Culver Blvd. and
Washington Blvd., between Duquesne Ave. and Ince Blvd., in Culver City, California.
