The latest edition of The Co-operative Magazine, entitled ‘School’s Out’, has now been published! This issue focuses on great ideas for the summer holidays, from where to take the kids to perfect ways to spend time together as a family.

This edition gives busy mums and dads handy hints and tips on how to keep the kids entertained during August, until school starts again in September. Regular readers of the Magazine will know that there are already some great features online, from family days out in the UK, to a walking series giving advice on the best places to walk across the UK.

School’s Out is a special edition which contains lots of interesting and useful features, from general articles such as ‘How To Fill The Summer Holidays’, to pieces that are specific to kids who love the great outdoors, such as UK walks for kids, and help for parents on summer safety, including how to keep the children safe from the sun, the sea and hazards such as BBQs.

As well as useful events listings, places to visit, safety tips and activities to keep boredom at bay, the August edition offers readers the chance to win two great prizes. Fill in a short form to be in with a chance of winning family tickets to the British Music Experience (BME) – an event offering people of all ages the chance to engage with music past and present.

Readers can also enter the draw to win a cricket bat signed by Freddy Flintoff and all sorts of other sporting goodies and memorabilia, simply by signing up to the monthly newsletter.

This edition has been designed and written with mums, dads and kids in mind, so get reading today for ideas and inspiration for activities, days out, holidays, cooking, baking and much more – August will fly by!
